INTRODUCTION-
Reflect on these;
*** CREATE OR YOU STARVE-NATURE'S NO.1 RULE TO MANKIND
*** In life and generally, it is either you create or you starve. So you must use your mind-the brain to think and create something differently or a process for others to use or follow. And that is the greatest secret of all great men and women of present and past generations.
*** Do not say or ask ' what can they give to me but rather ask what you can give to the advancement of humanity?
*** Why are only two percent of people known to make things happen and 98 percent of people just look and watch at event of life and history?
To answer the above puzzles, no doubt, the answer and the greatest secret is the Ten Letter Word- INNOVATION!
But what is Innovation?
Why should we discuss and teach innovation in schools?
And how can you become an Innovator?

First, the why of Innovation!
A----Africa the supposed richest but poorest due to lack of innovations on local resources: What are the resources abundantly available in Africa?
- 1-NATURAL RESOURCES-
The second largest continent in terms of land mass only second to Asia. What is Africa doing with the over 30, 212, 00 square kilometers of land mass?

- -2- AGRICULTURE:
It has been said that Zambia, Zimbabwe and the DRC-Democratic Republic of Congo have the agricultural potentials to feed the entire African continent and even export food to other nations. But alas! Africa begs for food. Why? Lack of creative thinking and Innovations the greatest bane of the African continent.
- 3- WATER- Africa with the largest rivers and water body like Nile, Congo, Niger and Zambezi still lacks water to drink and use for irrigation. What an Irony?

- 4-MINERALS-
- Africa with the largest deposit of COBALT, PLATINUM, TITANIUM, DIAMOND, GOLD, COPPER, and COLUMBITE –for electrical and cell phones and laptops computer, RADIUM and PETROLUEM resources yet still the poorest.
- 5- ENERGY
- Africa countries with the natural gas reserves, hydro-electric power point and the Sahara Desert with over 9,065,000 kilometers of energy field area are still in darkness.
- 6- What of the sand domes, the forest resources and the human resources all lying fallow waiting for innovative approach.
- These also apply to Nigeria the so called giant of Africa without much to show for it.
Note well, these problems and challenges facing Africa and Nigeria are the raw materials for innovations.
B- Innovation is where profit making in business start and they are sustained by innovative products and processes
C- All great people that made impact and legacy in life and in their generations were innovators—Examples: Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, Archimedes, Isaac Newton, Lord Kelvin just to mention but a few. Even in the Bible, God was introduced to the world as a Creator. And few people that try to be like HIM were innovators example- Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Job, Daniel, Joseph, Jacob, David, Jehoshaphat, Paul and etc. Innovations set them apart from the crowd of humans in their generations.
D- Without Innovations, there is decadence, degeneration, depression, stagnancy and decomposition of economic and social life of a person, community and a nation.
E- Innovation distinguishes you from the crowd to become a man among men, a woman among women and a youth among youths
F- There are three categories of people in the world- 70 percent are ordinary business people, 20 percent are entrepreneurs managing to cope while only 10 percent are innovators who are flourishing even in the mist of dryness and economic depression because they have the potentials to innovate and bring out new ideas, methods, products and services. So they are always in business and in the market.
