WHAT IS AQUACULTURE AND THE BENEFITS TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Let talk about opportunities in Aquaculture.  First, it is being estimated that by  2030, 62 percent of all seafood produced for human consumption will come from aquaculture. Today, it’s about 50 percent. So, what is aquaculture?    Aquaculture is the  breeding, raising, and harvesting of fishes, shellfish, and aquatic plants. Basically, it's farming in water. Aquaculture farming  is an environmentally responsible source of green organic food, income and commercial products, which  helps to create green and healthier habitats, which could be used to rebuild stocks of threatened or endangered species.
