Introduction:
HETAVAD Skills Academy and Networks is a
Nigerian based NGO- a unique Social Enterprise that was founded in 2015
and undertakes Health, Entrepreneurship, Technological Innovations,
Agricultural and Vocational Educational Development, which is HETAVAD SKILLS,
through Research, Training , Advocacy and Innovative approaches and
development. HETAVAD Skills promote Peace, Sustainable Development,
Entrepreneurship and Human Survival through the “Felt Needs” Concept. And right
from the launching out and publishing of our first major work titled:
“Innovative Strategies for Human Survival” otherwise known as the “HETAVAD
Handbook”, we have been strategically positioned with a number of innovative
approaches which have been deployed at different levels with great results. And
most remarkable, is our active involvement with the UN Systems- the High Level
Political Forum (HLPF) through the UN NGOs Major Groups and the UN STI-Science,
Technology and Innovations Forums.
Thus, in line with the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals- SDGs towards the realization of the 2030 Agenda otherwise
called the Global Goals, we have developed the following innovative
approaches aimed at addressing the focus, which is, Leaving No One Behind and
“Eradicating Poverty, Hunger, Inequalities/Injustices, Underdevelopment and
Promoting Prosperity in a Changing World.”
And some of these innovations from HETAVAD Skills
for partnership towards Gender (women and youths) empowerment in Nigeria/Africa
and Global partnership include:
1. HETAVAD Specialized Training Programs toward Social Innovations Development which include:
A - SDGs- Preneurship – How to turn the 17 SDGs into Sustainable
Social Enterprises Concepts through
B - Freelancing,
C - Gender Friendly Innovations for women and youths empowerment,
D - Social Enterprises innovations and development, E- 21st Century
Entrepreneurship and etc.
2. HETAVAD E-SKILLS for Digital Enterprises: This is a
special innovation for empowering women and youths towards digital jobs
revolution in Africa. It is also a platform tom acquire skills for
Learning-Working and –Earning for youths and women towards Educational
advancement.
3. HETAVAD Organic Floating Fish Feeds (Patented with Patent
No. 005443 FGN) for Helping Small Holders Fish Farmers (Youths and Women)
venture into profitable fish farming for jobs and income generation,
4. HETAVAD SOYMEAL PLUS – a special soy meal blended with
native ingredients as anti-malnutrition for children, women and youths in
schools

Obi-Innovator/Strategic Director,
HETAVAD SKILLS Institute/Networks and Lead Author, The A, B C and 1 2 3 on
Skills for the SDGs Campaign project, hails from Delta state, Nigeria. He was
born to Mr. and Mrs. Sunday Obi who were local farmers and petty traders.
Educationally,
Amos is aversatile academics with vast training and practical experiences in
Pharmacology, Veterinary Science, Science Technology, Business
Management/Computer Appreciations, and Theology.
Presently,
Amos is a Patent Right holder (Cert. No. 005443) from the Federal Government of
Nigeria and doubles as an Innovator, Strategic Thinker, Creative Evangelist/
Writer, Social Entrepreneur and as the Inventor of the HETAVAD SKILLS Projects
including the HETAVD E-skills 4 Digital Enterprises platform, OBIQUE ALKALINE

Advocacy, Research, Training, Innovations, and Products Designing Social
Enterprise/NGO concept. The training, mentoring and empowerment arm is the
HETAVAD SKILLS INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING AND MANAGEMENT- An integrated
project for Skills Acquisitions and Human Development.
